Head Start and community colleges in California ahve done mor for this country and individual people than almost any rpogram I can think of. The most pampered in our society are also the ones most likely to go to college (which is hard work!!!)and develop their mind and enhance their life. I raised my children very gently and they both turned out very well, kind, and acheived advanced drgees and some symbolance of self actualization; and they do way more than their share for society. They make me bring my own bag to the grocery store-lol. And they recycle.
