But what happens in places like London now outrageously expensive that have continued to rise even with their strong currency? If London doesn't crash then I doubt NYC or Boston does either to the extent many hope in the currency game of chess

Also who is to say whatever comes after Bush is long gone doesn't result in strong fiscal discipline and a strong dollar just like after the last Bush was thrown out.. Housing went no where much of that time even with a strong economy but in dollar terms actually became much more expensive.. To me that seems like a very unlikely scenario given the state of the nation today..
