Re: October rate cut?

The brokerage stocks are in a position close to where the HB's were 2 years ago.

They are precariously balancing the message of "it's really not as bad as we thought" to prop up earnings, with "they better keep cutting or we'll have a disaster.

How the f--k can BB cut rates when the markets are at new highs, (up 10-14% for the year because credit markets are "stabilizing"), dollar is plunging, "inflation under control" mantra wearing thin to everyone with half a brain, and "expert economists" assure us there won't be a recession.

Unless they're ...... wrong?

Answer this: Where does Ben's loyalties lie? With Wall Street and the Bush administration or dollar hedgemony?

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matt 6:24

Plus I suggest that Asians are as greedy as we are. They will not take the losing side should it be as bleak as it looks.
