Another good article. Shows how Republicans have moved away from what made them popular to most Americans. The only true Republican die-hards left are those who don't use the brain God gave them to think critically about our leaders. They're sheep. Anyone who doesn't follow others blindly would see the Republicans have real problems and are no longer representative of the majority of us. I'd say Democrats have offered proposals, but not many that I like. I'd like to see Democrats get closer to some of the proposals Bush had for solving Social Security, by moving to a system that tags payments in to the SS# of the individual and establishing mandatory savings amounts and prohibiting withdrawls until retirement age, etc. That's the real solution. Everything else is just social welfare and is doomed to bankruptcy.
