When we were kids you never heard of these severe food allergies, but it's epidemic today.

A bakery I go to every day has a sign that says the following:

"Many of our products are made with peanuts, walnuts and almonds. People with food allergies should assume cross-contamination."

Sign is relatively new. I would not be surprised if they had a food allergy incident there recently.
