You're taking one statement from, of all places, a juice maker, to support your claim that milk isn't nutritious?

Seriously, you don't believe that yourself?

Where did you come up with the "fact" that the majority of the world's children do fine without milk?

If you were serious about educating yourself about the value (or lack of value) of milk, you would rely on scientific evidence, not juice-maker advertizements.

best...

Yeah, everybody knows that too much milk is bad. Few people drink too much milk. Note the per capita consumption of milk of any "fatness" is at all time lows.

Too much milk could be a cause of obesity, but my guess is that it isn't even a remote factor. A few cases of obesity might be caused by excessive cheese consumption. The cause of obesity these days is overall piss-poor eating habits and lack of exercise.

You are clearly not a parent. When I get together with my kid's friends' parents, all they do is bring out crap snack food for their 2-3 year olds. I blatantly shame them when I pull out the peas, broccoli, whole wheat bread. Parents!!! You control your kids' diets; take the time to give them something healthy.

Parents complain, "Oh my child only eats pasta. She won't eat veggies." Bull. I used to bring steamed vegetables to my daughter's daycare at the end of the day. The kids would swarm me like I was the Pied Piper -- steamed brocolli, carrots, and cauliflower, they ate all of it. You are setting their eating habits for a lifetime, try to be a good role model. I get upset when my wife eats a cookie in front of our kids.

Now, if I can only figure out how to do the exercise thing with my kids, I'm golden.
