I know. It sounds totally cool.

I think what I need to do is upgrade my desktop to another Dell, and when I'm ready to upgrade my ultraportable (IBM now, with docking station and a 2nd external monitor), get a Powerbook. That way my secondary computer can be Apple and I can learn it without pressure.

this time machine is something I need so much I will upgrade all my macs and I never upgrade OSs usually (too much work).

I can't even tell you the amount of data I have lost by closing an excel doc without changing after doing a huge amt of updates.
