Maybe he should raise the royalties to 100%, just to be sure he gets out of the woods. And he would be justified, right? After all, the oil does belong to Albertans. Why should they share it at all? Then we could put the issue to rest for good. I'm sure Albertans would just love him for that. ;-)

Liberals Didn't the Liberals put him behind the eight ball by coming out 100% in favour of the report.. Remember when Chretien was going to cancel the GST and renegotiate free trade, it won them the election :O)

I wonder how much of coming out in favour was a true understanding and honest response and how much was electioneering bullshit... I bet we both know the answer to that one.. <ng> my cynicism is showing through again..
