I think the government should require that anyone who *wants* to buy health insurance MUST be able to regardless of their medical condition, and NOT at an exorbitant price... Different from any other kind of insurance in my view...

After the government gets the power to deny medical care to people your analogy will not seem as unreasonable as you may think.
