I believe one of my partners skied at Discovery last winter. It was a decent drive from here - something over 6 hrs. I'll ask him if it was Discovery he skied at.

I spoke with my partner.

Turns out it was Discovery Basin he skiied at. He raved about the area. Said the front side has a lot of good intermediate runs, and on the backside of the mountain, there are more challenging expert runs. He indicated there is a lot of variety.

Said Phillipsburg is a great place to stay nearby.
