Good grief! What a reminder. When I was about 16 my folks owned lake shore property on Shadow Mountain Lake. Of course, we had a boat. I borrowed a friend's Jeep to put the boat in the lake. I backed the trailer down the ramp and got out to release the bow and push the boat off the trailer. A friend stood on the bank with a rope to pull the boat back in once I got the Jeep and trailer out of the way. While I'm standing on the tongue of the trailer doing this, the Jeep slowly starts rolling backward. Up to the hood before it stopped. I had to call a tow truck to get it out. I can't remember what that cost me in dollars, but I still remember the embarrassment and harassing it cost me.
