Interesting stuff, thanks. The main data point is that there were 80k residents of Gaza which then received 200k refugees in 1948. Ok, that's helpful, thanks. But back to the topic of an independent nation of Gaza.

So what do you think - why is an independent nation of Gazastan with its current 1.4 million Pal residents unviable? Population density is not the obstacle - Singapore has a higher pop density and is an overwhelming success where which many Chinese prefer to China.

I don't see the answer to why it is unviable in your excerpts. It sounds to me like a great idea that solves the Pal "refugee" problem for 1.4 million Pal refugees. What do you think about the independent nation of Gazastan for the current residents of Gaza?
