Ted, > It was nothing new......the media simply took advantage of it when he ran for governor.

The timing of the story's release couldn't have been any dirtier. The LA Times could have released the story a month earlier without losing any of the details, yet they chose a time where they felt they could created the most shock and the most impact on the election results.

If I remember correctly, a couple of the women he was alleged to have abused came forward to embarrass him. What was the paper to do.....look the other way?

Of course, you're only defending the LA Times and attacking Ah-nuld because he still calls himself a Republican, if only in name. Funny how Clinton never got such criticism from you. Maybe you think he's "suffered" enough at the hands of the GOP ...

I criticized Arnold because he had no credentials to be governor; not because he was a Republican. I know the difference between a Bush/Cheney Republican and a CA Republican. As I saw it, his entire first term was a learning experience where he learned on the job and you paid for his training. He got away with it because he was a celebrity. If I were still a resident of CA, I would have been very pissed.
