Did I tell you about the German cab driver who asked me and my wife about our governor in California? He found it hard to believe that an actor can get elected. Here are his own words, "If he can become governor, I can become governor."

My wife and I had to smile. It just occurred to us that maybe having an average citizen serve in government is a uniquely American concept. (Yes I know Arnold is a celebrity, but you know what I mean. One who isn't a career politician and never got the training or education in politics.)
