I remember when I was in school, my mother would prepare a roast in the big black pot. She'd set the oven to come on late in the afternoon and when I would come home from school the house smelled wonderful. Both folks worked, but we had great meals, in spite of that.

Here's something I just found this morning. Solves my veggies problem and eliminates having to throw away fresh stuff that doesn't get eaten soon enough.
