edit: quit changing your posts so mine look even more insane :)

Health wise, I never wanted to gain weight but my wife didn't want to cooperate. She'd order pizzas and cook 6 batches of Toll House cookies on a Tuesday for a weekend event and leave them in the house. She'd say that if I didn't want to gain weight, I shouldn't eat them (no sh+t) but that's like telling a cocaine addict to hold your stash and not snort any.

I had a very very nasty fight with her about the weight that involved me leaving the house pissed and when I came back she left pissed. When she came back we negotiated the Jenny Craig diet and when she lost 10 lbs in a month she negotiated a new clothing budget with me. I'll never look back at the weight again as I blame her (and she knows that I blame her) for it. Now that she knows how easy it is to lose weight, I don't think that she will keep it off also.

My time spent at work is really rewarding mentally, I leave for work around 9am and get home at 615 (so that includes the commute). My job is a lot of fun and financially rewarding, it can't be beat. I don't like the idea of staying home and if I got into that situation where I retired, I'd get an office with a computer in it and read and invest or do something. Not to chase the money but to keep my brain busy.

Seriously though, for the last 5 years, I haven't said ever that I didn't want to go to work, this is the best time of my life. When I worked for someone else, I wanted to go to work a grand total of zero days. Life is good.
