But I do recall that, under Medicare, it used to be illegal to negotiate with patients fees in excess of of the amount that Medicare paid. I was all exercised over that and vowed to find a way to avoid signing up for Medicare. I don't know the details but I do know that is no longer the case.

If it ever changes back, or if some new problematic rule gets instituted is it possible for you to remove yourself from the Medicare roles?
