Hard to say. Some countries are talking about accepting payment in a basket of currencies for their oil.

The thing that sort of ensures a continued fall in the dollar is the intractable war expenditures creating huge debt and huge baby boomers big debt and politics creating total gridlock and the trade deficit.

None of those look to be corrected as far in the future as I can see.

China saves 50% and the US has a negative savings rate. That is an equation.
