Apart from past performance, one reason the stock is down is people just don't get at what stage the company is. They've suffered long and hard to get the payoff, and the payoff is now, only Q4 results come out in February. There is no dilution or registering of new shares until the stock reaches a $5 conversion price, so what's the worry there? That's a 50% jump from here, and by then the cash will be pouring in ("cash cow" according to Denver Forum presentation). The Ghana listing will dilute a tad when it happens, but this is well worthwhile if it lets Ghanians have a stake in the future of Golden Star. It gives us allies when political decisions need to be made. Plus, it adds to our coffers in order that we can build out the HBB project and the Prestea Underground that much faster. Bradford intended to resign at the end of the year, but he has agreed to hang on till a new CEO is found, leading some to speculate about a buyout. So there is a lot of misunderstanding, which leads to mispricing. That is what makes GSS a steal right here.

Looks like Orion upgraded today, BTW.
