When we stop refighting this war over and over again, we will finally be out of the morass we are in as a nation. Kerry was swiftboated but so was max cleland. In a post i made once to unclewest, i mentioned how medal of honor of winner and MSNBC correspondent Col Jack Jacobs had disputed some Lindy bill thread view on iraq. UW said not all medal of honor winners had a brain. He got a alot of attaboys on that one. In jims post i kind of liked the use of Kerrys middle name as some sort of signal on what kind of guy he is. When he ran for office they said he looked french. Actually he looks a hell of a lot more french than sarkozy fwiw.

i cannot understand why driving a girl off into the drink and abandoning her to die a slow death alone when she could have been rescued makes a guy tough or a hero.... result of course is his battle with the bottle.....

you want to come to the rescue of elitist john forbes kerry.... well name just one military person in the history of the United States military who received a Silver Star with a "V" device.....

also name one military person who served less than 5 months in Viet-Nam who got credit for a 12 month combat tour. remember he ran off and boogied back to CONUS for a cush job.... sickens me to think about it..... for you info, CONUS = continental united states.... yeah, hot footed away from the war zone real quick and be damned with his men whom he left behind..... yes, i have excluded some personnel from this category..... medevac's, KIA's... for instance in some cases a person might return to the states on a compassionate reassignment..... there was a criteria that if they completed 5/6ths of their tour they would get credit... (my numbers might be a little off on this one)...... this would be 10 months which is a far cry from the measley 4 months and days that elitist john forbes kerry was in-country and got credit for a full 12 month tour. hero? not in my book.... sorry...
