I'm starting to think that might have been the plan all along - Clinton/Obama ticket.

Agree.

How can he attack the woman who could choose him for a running mate?

I get the sense that he is more auditioning for vice-president than running for the top job himself. jmho

That is what I thought at the beginning of this nonsense. He is young enough to run for the POTUS several more times should he fail this time around.

However, with this campaign, he is getting a taste of of being in the big time (MSM and all) so I do not see him playing for the VP slot.

Mrs. Bill Clinton does not need him in the VP chair to support her candidacy because she is married to the "first black President". Ergo, the black vote is secure. She needs the hispanic vote which is Richardson. Her support of the NY driver's license for illegals demonstrates their strategy of pursuing the hispanic vote.

I do not see Edwards getting the nod for VP in that he proved himself an incapable candidate in '04. So this leaves her with Obama or Richardson as VP choices. Kucinich should be running for Kommissar, Dodd and Biden are tired old senators.

Even if she did not select Obama as running mate, the 'Hollywooed left' would still flock to her. And Obama would endorse her as he would be looking toward 2012 and beyond plus the possibility of a cushy job in her administration.

She doesn't have a good VP candidate representing those in the South. Obama is just another liberal from another heavily populated liberal state.

Richardson, OTOH, represents the southern tier (albeit southwestern); is a governor and half hispanic. Further, as a former clintonite, he knows how to follows orders.

Personally, I hope she selects Obama as her VP. It will give the republicans a clear leg up in next year's finale.

Mrs. Bill Clinton and Obama would have to move to the center. Obama will have a very difficult time convincing many voters that he has become a moderate overnight. In fact, they have differed significantly on many major issues - the war, the funding of the war, 'bringin em home' from Iraq, the driver's licenses, 5K 401k's, Iran negotiations etc.

FWIW.
