I figured. It's something I read about in Fanshen.

Americans are quite spoiled with modern household heating. When my Dad was young they heated the house with coal, and burned corn cobs in the kitchen range for cooking. With winter temps similar to north China, the house got damn cold at night.

Then Americans went to oil, natgas, electrictiy, and huge McMansions. Now the leverage of rising energy prices is really biting. Two of my neighbors are completing major home energy retrofits right now. Mine has been delayed, but I've got to do it next summer.

The other princes were making fun of him because of his Citigroup ownership, so the prince retaliates to claim the bragging rights to the world’s largest private jet to become the first V.I.P. customer for the A380 superjumbo jet, the winged colossus that the European plane maker prices at just over $300 million.

I think he got his Euros and bought this plane on the cheap!
