Iraq will turn out to be more of a draw than either a win or a loss. Iran and the shiaa militias are the big winners for now and there either will be shiaa control or federal-confederal solution that all sides by into.

The jury's out on that one. Before declaring Iran the winner, you must remember that the Iraqis and the Persians heartily dislike each other, and the Iraqis, even the Shia, have no taste for Persian rule, certainly not the current kind. The Iranians make think they can turn JAM into another Hizbullah, but if they were in good shape with JAM, they would be trying to squeeze out the moderate Shia with it right now. Instead the Americans are attacking JAM with little counter-attack, and Moqty al Sadr has called off his men.
