Interestingly enough I kind of feel the same way as a result of fatherhood--I kind of feel my son basically was who was from the get go ("its in there"). With such a concept you have to take the good with the bad--you have to accept that some packages are damaged and defective in some way--that scrambled genes can produce what we term "evil".

Iktomi, you have it figured out better than almost anyone I know. Dead or alive-lol. Now we just a few billion more like you. I get great pleasure out of feeding all the little birds in the morning when it is cold. And giving them water. Very few humans really try to understand the full intelligence and emotions of animals. Another shortfall of ours.
