I have the impression that generally the failed SPACS have been OTC BBs while the successfull ones (ie SEA FRH<no GLG> EDA) have all been listed SPACS.

Interesting strategy. I'm starting to think its really a bet on management and am now leaning to those SPAC's with seasoned private equity teams or like Victory/Triple Crown who have a sucessful prior SPAC. My hunch is if the skill set is there , more likely the right deal will be picked and be able to be consumated. I'm concerned about warrants that don't react positively to the deal and then the insiders have to overcome the 20 - 30 % hurdle of those who rather just take their cash back.

Btw, what were other SPAC deals that failed and do you suppose the problem was a bad industry pick or inexperienced dealmakers ?
