God is not the lords name

Jesus was our lord

<<Gloop, it's hard to take you seriously when you tell us you are a church goer>>

Don't then.

You're right, we don't have to eliminate God from our Constitution, SC etc...but we must do our best to choose God fearing men or women who know right from wrong and then let them make the right decisions for our country. For all of Bush's "talking to God" stories, I think Bush should have listened to my God...

When we read American History, we certainly do understand that God was never far from our Founding Fathers thoughts,,, It is wise of us to remember that.

My Dad was a Mason. I asked him one time why he didn't talk to my sons about the organization he so much admired. He told me seriously, that if he lived the kind of life that was upstanding and moral, perhaps they would ask him what his thoughts and belief system was. Unfortunately, he passed on before they were really of an age to totally talk to him in depth about that.

Religion to me is the same thing. I've thought about what Dad's thoughts were, and they are a guide to me....
