Hi Don, No, it's not a laudable post. And something tells me that Mr. Thompson is quite capable of writing a dispassionate and convincing assessment of Obama's patriotism. What caused me to respond publicly is LindyBill's repeatedly allowing-- even egging on-- deeply offensive posts by unclewest as to the "patriotism" of other Americans. Then when a dissenting poster takes offense, s/he's summarily banned, and often snidely talked about on the thread after the banishment. I find that more offensive. It's grade-school bullying by people who should know better. But obviously don't. Thanks for asking me that question, though. I appreciate your respectfulness, as always.
