Well, I completely missread the press release on the gov't grant of $10mm to PBG...I understood it was at the federal level similar to the $9mm granted in 2005 by the Ministry of Energy/Ottawa <http://www.ic.gc.ca/cmb/welcomeic.nsf/261ce500dfcd7259852564820068dc6d/85256a5d006b972085256fd60065aa54!OpenDocument>. That the grant is coming from the province virtually assures approval of the EUB permit....what a sweet deal! Can't wait to see the brokerage analysts crunch the numbers on commercial Whitesands. Next hurdle, recognizing the higher recovery with THAI versus SAG-D. Probably won't happen until they have significant production history and can complete a before and after survey on the produced reservoir. Wouldn't be surprised at an unfriendly takeover attempt by a major before that so the major could book the incremental reserves. Wright's probably got a plan in place to deal with that too........what an outfit Petrobank....solving so many of the oilsands producers' problems!!
