Yeah right, perhaps you've gone back in time yourself?

All I see is Bob Herbert trying to revive the fears of a right-wing "southern strategy." The Willie Horton ads and Jesse Helms' scare tactics were bad, but those days are passing.

Second rule of partisanship: Silence the opposition. Equate the term "states rights" with racism, and you can get people who sincerely believe in it to shut up.
