Moqty's 2004 insurrection in Najaf was crushed by the Americans. He only survived because the Brits in their infinite wisdom, did a backhand deal that allowed him to escape. Now the JAM, far from being under his sure control, is splintering into all kinds of groups that he can't even pretend to control. Some are controled from Tehran, some are just uncontrolled. This is not any kind of ascendant path, unless you aspire to be a tool of Tehran.
