I have the distinct feeling that mother nature is at the wheel - not humanity You got it. And humanity has been doing it's part. The air in our cities is much better then it was a generation ago. Our waters are infinitely cleaner then a generation ago. Remember the river in New York I think it was that actually burned? Remember when lake Erie was a dead sea? Both are great fisheries now and sources of clean water. This debate is about control and money, nothing else. When Gore and crew says the debate is over that is absolute bullshit and there is no other polite way of saying it. Our environmental and energy policies have been driven for years by non scientist hysterical POS like Al Gore. They are the reason we are in the mess we are in now. If what they really wanted was to get rid of global warming and carbon emissions they would be building nuke plants as fast as they can. We can't because of Gore and company so we build coal plants instead. They have caused us to emit carbon instead of steam. Asswipes, every one of them.

Furthermore we need to be terrified of people who say the argument is over, the consensus is in. Science isn't about consensus, it's about facts. Gore will not even debate anyone that doesn't agree with him because even he knows his facts don't stand up to scientific scrutiny. Hell in England the courts determined that his so called documentary was so flawed in so many ways that it can't be shown in their schools. The warmers shout down anyone who doesn't agree with them. They call them deniers. They say they are worse then holocaust deniers. Excuse me. That isn't science it's a damn cult. Consensus at one time was the earth was the center of the universe and everything revolved around us. Consensus was that the earth was flat. Consensus was that cigarette smoking was actually good for you and some ad's were actually done by medical doctors. Consensus is a very dangerous thing when talking about science. Nothing in this world would ever have been discovered if consensus was fact. Leave the science of our weather to the scientists and science. Keep the cult as far away from making public and environmental policy as possible. End of Sunday morning rant.
