TopCat, another thing to consider about the Laffer Curve is this: The apex of the Laffer Curve is the point at which tax revenue is maximized. However, that point does not necessarily coincide with what's best for the economy. So when you argue with liberals who think existing tax rates are to the left of the Laffer Curve, consider whether that's actually a good thing or not. Because the last thing you want to see is an inefficient bureaucracy growing by leaps and bounds, funded by maximized tax revenues. Tenchusatsu
