A religion too small to encompass new scientific data has no place in the modern world, and i wouldn't vote for anyone who believed such things.

the Baptist's are split on doctrine. more liberal Baptist's leave room for modern scientific data than fundamental Baptist's.

i believe Huckabee is a liberal Baptist which is the only reason to stick up for him...hopefully he is not THAT far to the right theologically.

Iktomi:

Doesn't mean people don't have a right to be as limited as they want to be, but other people don't have to vote for limited people

"limited people"? Ouch!

Seems most of America is limited. 2006 CBS poll, God created Americans in their present form - 55%, Humans evolved; but God guided the process - 27%; Humans evolved God did not guide process - 13%.

On the flip side there are 700 scientist according to this link who believe in Creationism - out of 480,000.
