JF, I figure that homeland security and protecting the borders should be one of the top priorities of our federal government. Becoming independent from oil is also a top priority in my mind. I also figure it's good to get the government out of micromanaging the economy. Taxes ought to be restructured toward that aim, i.e. a flat tax with little to no deductions. You can see where government social programs fall on my list of priorities. If that makes me a selfish American, so be it. I am also shifting these days away from my old support for neoconservatism. Let's trade with and compete against other nations, not remake them in our image. Tenchusatsu
