First there was only a mild recession in 92 and it was over before Clinton got into office. However, Clinton did some good things for the economy. However, Bill Clinton is a moderate Democrat. However, Hillary is a socialist. Big difference.

"The record shows Bill Clinton inherited from President George H.W. Bush an economy already in recovery."

That's wrong, Kenneth...

Clinton was in office from 1993 to 2001.

The recession you are referring to reached its trough in March of 1991. The US economy had 2 years of recovery prior to Clinton taking office. Clinton did nothing. The economy healed itself.

Again, more disingenuous posting from you.

The truth: George Bush inherited a recession from Clinton

The current Bush administration's claim that it inherited a recession from Clinton became somewhat more credible last week, when the Commerce Department revised its estimates of GDP, the broadest measure of economic growth, in the first, second and third quarters of 2001, showing that it shrank in all three quarters.

In other words, Bush did a good job cleaning up after Clinton's recession. :)
