A three day forecast today is likely to be more accurate than a one day forecast in 1980. That's great. Progress has been made.

To the extent that one day forecasts were accurate in 1980 anyway.

And forecasts beyond three days? Is there a model that can predict rainfall next August in the Houston area?

A simple couple questions:

Given global warming caused by human produced CO2, why was 1934 the warmest year of the past century? Shouldn't all the CO2 produced since the Great Depression have produced a warmer year so far?
