China embodies a new reality of commerce. When labor is inexpensive the quality does not have to be low. They can set their sights on high quality and capture a moderate price point instead of cheap and cheap. A friend flies RC planes on the plains. China is the source of many great models at a very reasonable price point. OTOH it helps when assembling them if you read Engrish fluently. Since he speaks and reads Cantonese, he can generally backtrack ans figure out what they meant better than I can.
