This sounds like urban warfare. What a horror story. Got
to tell those on Halloween. Gulp!

I have been to Korea and Japan in 1998, then some experience
with hyperinflation in Russia. There was nothing of that
sort, although most folks did get a lot poorer virtually
overnight.

Our international investment position is -2.7 Trillion, and
is rapidly increasing, because foreign markets exhibit much
higher growth than US market. So, US debts just may have to
be forgiven at USDX=60. I'm being an optimist here. The dollar
needs to drop some more, but hopefully not to zero. -g-
