I think the departure can be orderly. Problem i have with my former neocon allies is that they still dont recognize that there still wont be any flowers for us in iraq. Shiaa ally with iran and the kurds with us, unless we screw them over re: turkey, that is. As for the sunnis, they go with the flow. Al quaeda was a bit much for them to handle so they swing back to us during the surge. But do the former baathists love us? No way, they hate us for overthrowing their fiefdom under sadaam. And tribal leaders are just as reliable as those in afganistan and wahiristan. They want to use us now for advantage but want us out. So now there is a moment in time where there is some stablity and what do the war supporters do, read more into it than exists to justify their initial support for the war. Thats damn dumb and damn dangerous. As Chinton and myself said awhile ago, we can now say Mission Completed and exit with this being viewed as a smaller victory. Hell at least the kurds are free and the shiaa dont have saddams boot on their throat anymore.
