How do Jeezuz principles align with (R) principles? Jeezuz would be a (D), or perhaps even a socialist or communist today. He was all about how we treat the least of us.

The contemporary (R) party is the "I've got mine, but want more, GFY" party.

Ted, no one who buys an unreliable car will accuse the car maker of being the "anti-Christ." They'll just look for an alternative. Fortunately for cars, there are plenty of them out there.

Now you don't understand an analogy?

Unfortunately in the world of American partisan politics, you only have one alternative. It's like seeing your Nissan break down one too many times, so you go and buy yourself a brand new Yugo.

When you have a choice between a corrupt, incompetent, ideological party and one that is not as aggressive as it should be, slightly less incompetent, that cares about people more than the other and had a successful run in the 1990s, most intelligent, rational people would choose the latter party even as they complain they wish they had a better choice.
