Obama really could be the old-guard Bush Republican nightmare. Moderate republicans like him and some (George Will, Pat Buchanan and others) have gone so far as to say he is somebody republicans could vote for as a true change agent.

I know many on this thread "don't get it" about his appeal but, like Ron Paul but for different reasons, Obama reaches people on a basic level and installs a positive feeling about hope and outlook. Without going for the dark side.

No Republican would beat Obama, I would wager.
