You're the one who raised the issue that Bush hasn't officially declared war... I have no problem with it, he doesn't have to, this is something that bothers Ron Paul, except that Ron Paul doesn't even see the threat...<g>

Unless you have a war such as WWII, the American public will never be united in declaring war. So be it.

For the most part the public has been on board with the Iraq War. Remember there is no draft-----the men and women who serve now are volunteers.

I am thankful everyday that we had a strong person such as President George W. Bush in place to take aggressive action against terrorism after 9/11, worldwide and in Iraq.

Americans understand that we don't want the evil actions of the radical jidhadists occurring here in America or in the nations allied with freedom and democracy.
