Which, of course, was the issue under discussion.

But, what the heck. Logical consistency doesn't seem to be your strength, so we will go with it.

The posts you have kindly supplied seem mainly to be complaining about the US rather than holding Chavez up as something to be emulated.

And the fact of the matter is that Chavez seems to have the support of enough of his people to get elected, although he fell short of what was needed to have complete control.

So, ok. You did find some posts that aren't completely disparaging of Chavez. Now, it might be true that this Tom guy is all broken up about the vote. I can't say as how I remember him, so...

Consequently, our enemies are figments from the imaginations of our leaders. Bush doesn't like Chavez because he's a leftie. So word goes out to the American media to present Chavez in the worst possible light. Carter tells us the Chavez elections were fair but the media reports exactly the opposite.

Where do I say in the above post that I like Chavez as you suggested in one of your posts:
