I'm not sure who you mean, but that wasn't me.

I posted I expected both companies would head for single digits after AMD bought ATI and it became clear the general economy was in a world of hurt. So far I'm 1 for 2 but the next 2 years are going to be tough for everyone.

It looks like the "Bacelona Bug" was pure FUD from short sellers - the whole story seemed to fade away.

I've got to pay attention regardless since I have 3 systems but they've never had a problem (on the other hand, they're still very lightly loaded).

The people with all those Core 2 systems where Intel later fixed the problems for future shipments of parts seem to be OK, and it sounds like there were more and worse Core 2 errata than are in Barcelona/Phenom.

Just a typical CPU launch, larded up with FUD from the ridiculous posters on this board.
