Buddy it is very interesting. I may have some other goodies that I researched early on the net that came from abroad. His story is the kind that makes one ask how he made the journey to being a candidate for President of the United States. Contrary to the image he gave of Indonesia. Hawaii was full of opportunity for him. His mother, was a of student at University of Hawaii, and his father a student from Kenya at University of Hawaii---------later educated at the private Punahou. By societal standards in Hawaii during the early 1970's and on the mainland at that time I consider him to have been very priveleged------having parents who went to the University of Hawaii and his going to the exclusive Punahou. Enjoy the site------it's a great connection for English news and their viewpoints. mj

Buddy McKee Here is another old article from March 2007. amconmag.com Do read all of it-----this article is the best I have read about Obama. The writer presents a thoughtful and thought provoking analysis of the essence of Obama. Referring back to Romney and his Mormon faith that embraced polygamy in the 1800's------note that Obama also has ancestors who were polygamous beginning with his own father who had more than one wife but not in the same house. Think Romney can lay any talk of Mormon polygamy to rest-------as it existed in Obama's ancestral family also and likely other candidates ancestral lines. mj
