The international oil industry. Africa is one of the most open areas for US companies.

Are they citizens?

Some are. Some aren't. The ME, Russia, and many other countries have national oil companies which largely monopolize development of their reserves.


If they are not citizens, then AA is not even an issue. If they are based in Nigeria, again not even an issue. I think you are trying to muddy up the waters.
