Level playing field is the goal we should be shooting for. Racial quotas, playing historical racial guilt games, and encouraging racial greivances are not a way to get there. You don't think so but others disagree. If you have a better approach, then I am all ears. You work with "many Nigerians and Africans"? Where do you work? The UN? The international oil industry. Africa is one of the most open areas for US companies. Are they citizens? Some are. Some aren't. The ME, Russia, and many other countries have national oil companies which largely monopolize development of their reserves. If they are not citizens, then AA is not even an issue. If they are based in Nigeria, again not even an issue. I think you are trying to muddy up the waters.
