JF, so when Hugo Chavez loses a referendum, he should be saluted, but when Bush loses a virtual referendum on his presidency in 2006, he should only be "saluted" with a middle finger.

Democracy is just as strong here in America as it is anywhere else. Just because it worked in Venezuela, despite the ambitions of a military strongman, doesn't mean it's broken here.
