Re: CDE ... The break out opportunity, as you suggest is valid.

The February highs suggest a short term view.

If price breaks out in the near term, I buy a double position with the idea of holding short term and selling into those February highs.

If you believe CDE has longer term potential, then I would consider selling half of the position into the February highs and holding the remaining full position for the longer term.

As you observe the markets over a long period of time such as many years, repeating cycles begin to show-up. Especially, true with commodities cycles. Patterns continually repeat giving rise to the Quote > "There is nothing new under the sun" by King Solomon.

Gann in "How to Make Profits in Commodities" states that time is the most important factor in determining the direction of markets. And this is found to be true. For example, one should first examine the orbit of our planet. We know that Earth spins on its axis one complete turn relative to the Sun forming one day. It takes Earth 365 days to circle the Sun. This circle, cycle/orbit can then be divided into 4 seasons because of the tilt of Earth on its axis

1. Earth = 1
2. Orbit = 365 days
3. Spins on axis = 1 day/360 degrees
4. 365 days = divided into 4 seasons
5. 365 days = divided into 12 months
6. 360 degrees = divided by 4 = 90 degrees
7. 360 degrees = divided by 3 = 120 degrees
8. 360 degrees = divided by 12 = 30 degrees or one sign of Zodiac
9. Tilt of axis = 23 degrees creating an ecliptic or when at 0 degrees. This happens on March 20, beginning of spring, and also the beginning of the signs of the Zodiac

September 20/21, beginning of fall and half way-point of the Zodiac

Using the above information, the daily chart is set up using the key number of 12

On the yearly orbit of 365 days minus 104 days for weekends yields 261 days. 261 days divided by 12 equals 21.75 days. Drop the .75 day for holidays and use
this cycle of 21

Add the angles and you will have a very workable method in trading. Happy Trading
