I won't read Maudlin anymore. He takes 4 pages to write what would much more effectively be said in 4 paragraphs. He likes to write much more than he is a good writer.

Willie likes to write also, but not in an overly wordy way like Maudlin. The trouble with Willie, as you noted, is that he tends toward being sensationalistic with regularity.

"He was pumping Cadero if I remember right with a bunch of bozos"

Jim was sucked in by "Waldo" in Victoria and his merry band of careless researchers and pumpers of which I was one for awhile until he screwed things up and the truth came out. I lost a fair amount as well

After that I never trusted Henk van Alphen as he should have known better in my opinion then to mix with internet hypers. Where was Waldo getting his info from?

This has nothing to do with Jims credentials as an economist. You can't try to put a person in bad light because of an unrelated mistake where he got taken advantage of by unscrupulous mining shills in BC. I wouldn't know if he made or lost money, why don't you ask him?

If Jim says it and Sinclair says it and Puplava says it and Mogambo says it then who the hell is Maudlin except another government shill? I don't listen to government paid economists which is in my opinion what those guys are. I also do NOT listen to that Bank of Montreal economist whose name escapes me....couldn't be too important.

This banking system is collapsing, the fun is just starting. If you imagine things going on as usual as they had in the past, well stop it. This Bush bailout is doomed to failure and by doing this he is destroying any faith borrowers have in truth un lending practices. I know that there is no way I would ever believe in a contract again because evidently in the USA and Canada they aren't worth the paper they are written on.
