Sea O, Nobel Prize winners are specialists. A guy known around the world for his ability with field theory may not know much about botany, etc. etc. My own opinion is that the warming may be short term and not too correlated with the CO2 increase.
What is true is that we have a shortage of food, the planet is overpopulated with Homo sapiens, there is too much pollution etc. etc. oh yes and we will soon run out of petroleum. A world population of about a billion could, I hear, live comfortably on renewable energy. Forget CO2, that's not the worry, overpopulation is the problem.
As good TJ always says, BUY GOLD. I say BUY OIL.

You have to make a distinction between people who deny that the earth is warming, and those who don't believe that this is necessarily a bad thing. A decision about the former can be based on science (although our understanding is still far from complete), but evaluating global warming involves weighing many different factors, and cannot be made scientific. There will be winners and losers, and science can't even tell you definitively who/where/how many/how much, let alone provide a way to arrive at an overall valuation.

That's funny: <The GW deniers should stop with the name-calling. > Calling those who take the trouble to think, "deniers" as in Holocaust Deniers. Yes, no name-calling. Do you not notice the hypocrisy in your comment?

Doomsterists don't analyze my theory and point out any defects before they revert to silly name-calling, dogma and demands for belief, not reason, which is the mantra of religion and superstition. If they can't reason it out, or come up with facts, I assume [as always when people adopt such strategies] that they don't have anything, which they never do.
